Odd Stuff in People's Homes

Saw this in a friend's home and just had to take a picture of it. It is a small sculpture that my friend has little idea where it came from. I thought it was so interesting and odd at the same time I had to capture it!!!

Airplanes

I kind of have a fear of flying.... it is small but it is still there. My sister and I are traveling to NY for the holidays... should be interesting...

This is a picture I took with a point and shoot camera I had back before I started to get really into photography. It was taken while Scott and I were on vacation on a cruise. It is taken at Sunset Beach Bar in St. Maartin. Very cool that the planes look like they are about to land on people's heads.

Welcome to My Photography Journal!
I have really enjoyed my first year of exploring the world of photography!
Currently I am using a Cannon T1i camera with varying lenses. I also of course use a point and shoot camera or my iPhone when I do not have my usual camera with me.
I decided to start this blog during my favorite season of the year! I do apologize to those who do not care for holiday shots but they are some of my favorite shots to take.
Please feel free to comment on anything I post. I welcome the discourse and open forum!

These two pictures are of two of my favorite ornaments on our tree at home. I just put up the tree yesterday with the help of one of my friends. The tree always adds something to our household when it is put up. One of the many reasons I love this time of year. I could stare at the tree for hours at night and many times I do. I am trying to add a little more Disney to the tree each year.
